I'm Chrys Ayley

In a nutshell I’m an excellent all-round communicator and researcher. Writing, verbal and visual communication  are my key skills along with plenty of common sense.

I'm a journalist by day and freelance writer after hours. I have a quirky view of life, a fine mind, and a dry British sense of humour.

Take a look at my blog to see if you think I make sense or whether I've lost the plot. I suspect I'll appeal to people over the age of 55 who might be having trouble coping with the 'woke' world  we're faced with today.

I was born in Surrey, England and live and work in New Zealand. I have lived in New Zealand for decades, apart from a sojourn of 16 years in the Fiji Islands where I worked as a freelance travel writer and professional photographer. 

I set high ethical standards for myself and all the work I undertake.

I care deeply about respect, truth, honesty and that awfully old-fashioned concept of integrity.
